.Bird Symbolism in Palliative care
Birds symbolize freedom, transcendence, and the soul’s journey towards enlightenment. They are seen as guides, protectors, and messengers from the spirit world. Birds also symbolize transformation, renewal, and the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Their ability to fly connects them to the element of air and the mystical realms.

Our use of bird imagery in our logo and social media is for a few reasons.
Firstly, ignited by Sarah travels around rural and remote Australia, she became a bit of a bird nerd!
We have always found birds beautiful and fascinating, from their stunning plumage to their original songs - we even have a well worn copy of the Field Guide to birds of Australia!
Over the years, we have met so many people who believe that our spirit can come back to our loved ones in the form of a bird. We love this concept, as it is a way to connect and a reminder of our bond with those who have passed.
Members of our own family have many instances of random but coincidental visits from specific birds that they find significant. In fact, we have a resident Willy wagtail visit us at home regularly who we believe is the spirit of Jade’s beautiful Nan who passed in 2020.
"We cannot change the outcome, but we can affect the journey".
